Great Visions Consulting was founded over 30 years ago as a strategic planning consulting firm. We believe that companies must have a clearly defined and articulated strategic Vision and Plan if they are to succeed in the long term. We have found that the most successful plans are short, aggressive and focused on "make or break" issues. We believe it is important to "train" our clients in planning skills so they can manage their own planning process in future years without outside consulting assistance.
Most businesses don't plan. Those that do rarely write complete-enough plans or succeed at implementing the plan. We help clients create short, focused, and aggressive plans which ensure business success and mission accomplishment.
To overcome the planning barrier, we keep the process short, entertaining, and minimally demanding of senior management time. Most completed plans are shorter than four pages. Most organizations can complete the planning retreat itself in one and a half days or less.
To ensure a complete plan, we focus the management team on identifying and discussing the critical "make or break" issues for their organization.
To ensure implementation success, our process is designed to maximize involvement of the key employees who must be committed to carrying out the plan. In addition, emphasis is placed on setting measurable objectives.
